In »Le cours de la vie« Georges Aperghis, winner of the Ernst von Siemens Music Prize 2021, imagines in all imaginable tonal colors and constructive voltages the image of the great street on which one »in twos, in threes, suddenly in a walking crowd« encounters familiar as well as »seemingly strange figures, some of them masked … «–Also in this composition Aperghis shows that he »knows how to dance on the rope like an acrobat, risking the fall without falling«–according to the philosopher Félix Guattari.

SOMMER IN STUTTGART festival neuer musik is organized by Musik der Jahrhunderte in association with Akademie Schloss Solitude and Ensemble Ascolta.
