The composer Andreas Eduardo Frank and the director Matthias Rebstock have developed this music theatre as a real-virtual expedition into the bizarre world of mushrooms, in which existential questions are negotiated:

»What can we learn from the symbiosis specialists and their mycelium networks? What do our human ideas of individuality, intelligence and society look like from their perspective? Can we use them to overcome the crisis of the Anthropocene and arrive at new forms of co-operation between humans, nature and machines?«
