Jochen Schorer

Jochen Schorer was born in Villingen in 1974 and grew up in Mühlheim an der Donau (near Tuttlingen). At the age of 24, he became first percussionist with the SWR Symphony Orchestra (1999–2023). He has performed as a soloist and ensemble musician and taught in Nuremberg and Bern, and since October 2023 he has been Professor of Percussion at the State University of Music in Trossingen.
